As per usual, the social events are included in your meeting registration and promise to be a lot of fun as well as great networking opportunities with your colleagues. We are including an excursion the the UNESCO World Heritage Rainforest.   For those people who are wondering, we are not including an excursion to the Great Barrier Reef for two reasons - (a) it takes a whole day, (b) the experience is weather dependant.  If you wish to go to the Great Barrier Reef, we recommend you stay the weekend after the meeting and take one of the many options available (or arrive the weekend before the meeting).

Welcome BBQ

Welcome BBQ at the Sabaya Resort Port Douglas

Enjoy drinks and a delicious BBQ dinner under the starts by the lagoon pool of the hotel.

Tuesday 18th September

Free evening at your leisure to explore the many delights of Port Douglas.

Wednesday 19th September

Excursion

Put on your walking shoes and get ready for a rainforest adventure as we go to Mossman Gorge including Kuku Yalanji Dreamtime Walk, and enjoy a Daintree River Cruise.  Morning/Aftenoon tea and lunch included.

Dinner

On return from the excursion, we will have to do some work. Following this there will be a casual dinner at the hotel.

Thursday 20th September

Gala dinner 

Enjoy a special dinner in this majical Rainforest setting at Silky Oaks.  You will be transported by coach so please be in the hotel lobby by 6.30 pm for a prompt departure. The journey takes 20-30 mins.

Accompanying Persons (adult) - NOT A DELEGATE

This ticket is for people who wish to bring a family member or friend WHO IS NOT ATTENDING THE MEETING to the Social Events and does not include coffee breaks or lunches and other associated meeting costs. e.g. an accompanying spouse. It is listed seperately so you can log in and make the booking without your workplace being involved in the payment. You MUST use an email address that is different to the one used to register you the delegate or it will not work since the email address identifies the registrant. 

The Accompanying person's ticket includes:

Children's rates should be applied for by asking the secretariat as it will depend on the age of the child since the venues all charge different rates.
