Accommodation at the conference venue, QT Port Douglas (formerly known as the Sabaya Resort Port Douglas) must be booked and paid during the registration process.

We have secured a few extra rooms until the 19th of August 2012. After this date the unsold rooms will be released back to the hotel. The rooms are on a request only basis through the secretariat.

We have secured great rates so we strongly encourage you to stay in the Sabaya Resort, the conference venue. Not only is this a great hotel with gorgeous pool with swim-up bar, day spa etc., it is also very convenient to the conference venue and meeting point for all excursions and dinners. If you do choose to stay elsewhere, you will need to spend money on getting to and from the conference venue each day (not to mention the time). We have secured a large number of 2 bedroom apartments so if budget is in mind you can share these with colleagues as hey work out very economical. All apartments have kitchenette and laundry facilities.  All our rates include full buffet breakfast that includes REAL COFFEE for up to TWO (2) delegates per room. Any extra people (above 2 persons) in the room will need to pay extra for breakfast.

Note, If you wanted to book a room type that your workplace will not pay for e.g. upgrade to an apartment when they will only pay for a garden view room, please contact the secretariat and we will make an arrangment to accommodate the difference in payment. This is good for those people bringing families.

Overlooking the Resort's lush gardens, these are standard hotel rooms and offer, bathroom with a shower. Bedding is a King or two Singles. This room is too small to accommodate more than 2 people.

Pool View Resort Room $189/night
Overlooking the lagoon pool, these are standard hotel rooms and offer, bathroom with a shower. Bedding is a King or two Singles. This room is too small to accommodate more than 2 people.

Garden View One Bedroom Apartment $204/night
Overlooking the Resort's lush gardens, these apartments offer modern kitchenette facilities, bathroom with a shower, and a separate living/dining room. Bedding is a King or two Singles in the bedroom, and there is a double sofa bed in the living room to sleep 2 children or 1 adult. Note there is an extra charge for breakfast if there are more than 2 people in the apartment.

Garden View Two Bedroom Apartment $304/night
Commanding views of the Resort's lush gardens, these two bedroom apartments offer separate living/dining room, modern kitchenette facilities, washing machine & dryer. Two bathrooms, including an ensuite with spa bath and shower, are off the main bedroom. Bedding is a King or two Singles in each bedroom and there is a double sofa bed in the living room to sleep 2 children or 1 adult. Note there is an extra charge for breakfast if there are more than 2 people in the apartment.
