Paper submission is now open - until Tuesday 1 May 2012

The Conference Technical Committee would like to thank all Authors who have submitted abstracts to the ARRB Conference. Participation has been overwhelming with submissions reaching over 360. The quality of the abstracts were outstanding this year which made the selection process an exceptionally difficult one. We hope, regardless of the status of your abstract or paper, that we will still see you at the 25th ARRB Conference in 2012.

Paper submission guidelines

Paper submission is now open. All papers must follow the template which you can download by clicking here. Maximum word limit: 10,000 including diagrams, pictures and graphs at 250 words each. Please restrict the file size to 1.9 MB or less.

Critical dates

Abstract submission is now open. All authors will be notified via email as to the outcome by Thursday 15 December 2011. If you have not received notification by this date, please contact the Conference Technical Secretary as soon as possible.

Successful authors will be required to provide a final draft of their paper for peer review by Tuesday 1 May 2012. Papers will be reviewed by a minimum of two referees and may be rejected or require modification depending on the referees' recommendations.

Final papers will be required by Monday 30 July 2012. This will allow for final editorial checks, formatting, publishing and inclusion into the conference proceedings website which will be available to participants during the Conference.

Abstracts of the final papers will be included in the abstracts book available to participants at the Conference.

Registrations open Monday 5 March 2012. Presenters will receive the Early Bird discount when registering for the Conference.

Copyright licence agreement

The Author allows the conference host, ARRB Group Ltd, to publish the work/s submitted for the 25th ARRB Conference, hereby granting ARRB the non-exclusive right to:

• publish the work in printed format
• publish the work in electronic format
• publish the work online

The author retains the right to use their work, illustrations (line art, photographs, figures, plates) and research data in their own future works.

The Author warrants that they are entitled to deal with the Intellectual Property Rights in the works submitted, including clearing all third party intellectual property rights and obtaining formal permission from their respective institutions or employers before submission, where necessary.

Disclaimer

The invitation to submit an abstract does not constitute an offer to pay travel, accommodation or registration costs associated with the Conference. Similarly, no speakers' fee is paid to successful applicants.

By submitting this abstract you grant the Organising Committee permission to publish the work in the proceedings and the Conference website.

 If you do not wish to do this but still wish to submit please contact the Conference Technical Secretary to discuss. The Organising Committee's decision on acceptance of the abstract will be final.
